Hi Chance, My wife and I are subscribers to your channel on UA-cam and we enjoy your videos, especially the last one about the Ocean Breeze and Ocean View communities in Jensen Beach Florida. We live in a small Arizona town and we would have to deal with the humidity that Florida offers, but we were thinking about flying out to Palm Beach airport and spending a week at Jensen Beach at one of the two resorts! This is one of the ones I've really liked as far as layout. Cons No coat closet at front door. The pantry is great size but it's too far from the kitchen. You would need a base cabinet with small sink and outlets in there for it to be useful. Try cleaning your pantry when you are that far away from the sink. Only one bathroom with one sink but you have 3-4 (or 5) guest rooms. (This does not effect me personally as it's just two of us, but for a family that needs 4-5 bedrooms, you would HAVE to have a 2nd sink at least. Master bedroom is small for that size home. Pros Big living room and it's functional. I would have moved the front door over to the left a couple of feet (closer to the bank of windows) and added a wall of closet to the right of the front door. That's good for coats and storage. You still have a lot of living room space but you would have a wall of storage. I love the linen closet in the hallway and the cleaning closet in the utility room. Be sure there is an outlet in that closet in the utility room so you can charge a vacuum cleaner. The utility room has a base cabinet and a laundry sink. Excellent. I would want more upper cabinets to go across above the washer and dryer and a base and upper cabinets on the opposite wall. I'm sure they can do that. I like the size of the pantry but wooden shelves which is probably an option. And if you can't change the placing of the pantry (which is too far from the kitchen) then I would ask for a base cabinet with small bar sink in it. The master shower door is not wide enough. You have room to widen it, do so. You need a bench in the shower, and safety bars. I love how the commode has the pony wall instead of being in it's own room. The pony wall accommodates safety bars to help us seniors get up and down along with a little privacy. But you aren't stuck in a coffin room. I HATE wasting a room just for the toilet. And I'm claustrophobic. I love the cabinets going up to the ceiling! In the kitchen and bathroom. I love the glass doors. Not too many but the right amount. Personally, I'm very organized and I like having glass door uppers to show my china and glasses. But if you aren't organized and have matching stuff, you might not want glass fronted doors. In the master bath has wavy glass in the doors which gives you a glimpse without fully revealing any clutter. It works for me but maybe not for everyone but that's probably an option. I like the size of the master closet and it is NOT in the bathroom. I had one that opened from the bathroom and I had to have a dehumidifier running all the time to keep my clothes and shoes from mildewing. So I like the placement of the closet. I would want a closet system with real wood shelves. The bathroom is just the right size. Not too big with wasted floor space but has everything you want in it. I can't use a sitting tub any more. At my age I can't sit down or stand up from a bathtub any more. I enjoy my nice sized shower with bench and I never use the sitting tub. I would want natural gas stovetop, oven and hot water heater and a backup heater. Maybe that's an option? I don't want an electric fake fireplace. I don't want to waste space on a big fake fireplace with gas logs. But I would put a backup gas heater somewhere for if the power goes out. I had a backup heater in my Master bedroom in one house and that came in handy when the power went out for 3 days during an ice storm. I could close the door and keep my pets and I warm. I had hot water, working stovetop and heat. With city water I had water so I didn't suffer like a lot of people did. I love the kitchen sink. It's stainless which is durable, it's large and you can use the accessories as you want. I love the glass tile backsplash. I've seen some that are using porous clay tiles that will just get grimy and dirty. I wouldn't use those anywhere in my house. But these glass tiles are easy to clean and look good. I only want glossy ceramic or glass tile in my home because it's easy to clean. I love the large and smaller pantry style cabinets. Great for storage and as appliance garage. Something I would like to suggest to any modular home, mobile home, manufactured home manufacturer is to go ahead and add a central vac system. Run the lines, add appropriate number of inlets and a kickplate in the kitchen. The machine part needs to be accessible (so not in the attic please) and have ventilation. Put it over the hot water heater in it's closet???

Favorite feature of this home is the master bath❤and the space upstairs. With 5,000 sq. ft., I'm surprised that there isn't a formal dining room. One that is separated with french doors would have been AWESOME! But, the home itself is beautiful 😍.

Only cost around $35.000 to build if you can do it yourself. That's way to much money for that home, don't fall for these homes

In the 2 BR I’d rather have a smaller master and have a powder room also so you have 2 toilets. 3 or 4 people and one bathroom is not feasible.

The living room needed to be an open floor- not a wall cutting it off from kitchen. I’m assuming it’s a bearing wall? The plastic coated shelving makes it look cheap.

Please stop referring to this and other homes like it as "MOBILE HOMES" This is a "MODULAR" home, which is absolutely NOTHING like a mobile or manufactured home. Further, the term "mobile home" hasn't even been used for several decades. Today any home that is built on a rigid permanent frame that cannot be removed is referred to as a "manufactured home". The government construction codes, restrictions and regulations are much stricter than they were back in the early days of mass factory produced housing of the 40s, 50s and 60s In fact, in many cases the government standards are even more strict than they are for stick built homes, especially when it comes to roof loads, insulation, plumbing, etc Now let's talk about "modular homes" like this Deer Valley Homebuilders model. They are NOT attached to or constructed on a rigid frame like a manufactured home. This means that they must be built to the most strict standards of all. Because of this, many models use 2×6 boards in the walls and around windows and doors instead of only 2×4. They also are just as solid as a stick built home, and many have been proven to be able to withstand high winds and EF2 (and occasionally EF3) tornadoes. The same cannot be said of a manufactured home. As mentioned before, a manufactured home is permanently attached to a rigid frame. This means that they can be moved several times throughout their lifetime anytime and anywhere, as long as inspectors deem it safe to do so. They almost always require a solid concrete foundation to which it must be firmly "tied down". Unfortunately the down side to this type of construction is that manufactured homes usially can only be placed on shallow concrete foundations or concrete pads. They must be legally classified as "Personal Property" 'and therefore be issued a Title at the time of sale (just like a vehicle, motorcycle, boat, etc.), which means lending options can be very limited. Interest and insurance rates on a manufactured home are usually much higher. Also, the property where the hone will be set will be considered "Real Property", and will therefore require a separate loan and insurance from that of the manufactured home. The appraisal value of manufactured homes can depreciate rapidly, which is something many manufactured home owners had not considered at the time of purchase. On the other hand, once the construction of a modular home has been completed at the factory, the sections are loaded with big cranes onto temporary transport frames and then taken to the property where they are going to be set up. Once there, big cranes again must lift the sections and place them onto the exact same quality of foundations, crawl spaces and even basements as those needed for stick built homes. Once all of the sections have completed this process and have been "married" to each other, they can never be moved. The temporary transport frames are immediately removed from the property so a local contractor can come in and complete the finish work both inside and outside the home. Because there is no permanent transport frame attached to sections of modular homes, they are eligible for the exact same loans and insurance from the exact same companies as a stick built homes. Interest rates and the cost of insurance are both much less than those of a manufactured home. Hopefully this [rather lengthy] explanation will help everyone to understand the major differences between "mobile homes" (any home produced before 1974 that is permanently attached to a rigid frame); "manufactured homes" (any factory built home produced after 1974 that is permanently attached to a rigid frame); and "modular homes" (any factory built home that is NOT attached to a permanent rigid frame and therefore must conform to the same government building codes, restrictions amd regulations as stick built homes. Once a modular home has been set up on a property and the landscaping has been completed, it can be extremely difficult to discern it from a stick built home. In fact, stick built homes will ALWAYS cost much more than a modular home of similar square footage, despite the fact that a modular will retain its appraisal value even better. Therefore PLEASE do not discriminate against modular homes. P.S. Here's a little bit of trivia -- The largest and safest cruise ships in the world (i.e. Royal Carribean's "Star of the Seas" and "Icon of the Seas") are actually put together in a very similar way as a modular. The cabins, suites, restaurants, lounges, theaters, main bridge and all other areas on the ships are manufactured in sections that are then pieced together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. So are modern jets '(Boeing "777" and "787", as well as the Airbus "A280", which is the world's largest passenger jet); several modern high rise apartments and condos, and numerous other retail locations and businesses. So the next time you are tempted to speak negatively about modular homes, just remember that the very plane and/or ship on which you are using for your vacation are basically the "big brothers" to them. They have obviously met or exceeded the building codes, requirements and restrictions, and will remain as the world's most massive structures for decades to come.

With every hurricane getting stronger and stronger every year, it’s not a good idea to buy a home on the beach, no matter how strong you rebuilt the nature always win and every year Americans are getting stronger and stronger and you’re gonna be left with no power in the hot scorching sun Everything is flooded around you. Very nice :) Being a one bedroom home, I'd ask if the bathroom could have just a single sink vanity. Then move the water heater into the bathroom. This would free-up the hall water heater closet for linens & other stored items.

So this has to be purchased and built in florida? Id love to to have this put on a lake in Sc or Ga.

Very nice holiday home. Since it is not intended for permanent living, I would install a two-burner stove, a small oven and a small refrigerator. It will make the house cheaper (I'm not planning on cooking a three-course meal with dessert on vacation). In addition, since the first house is for a couple, I would exclude the door from the bedroom and bathroom. One door is enough, and sound insulation will improve.

Wouldn't a hurricane simply "relocate" that entire development?

Looks really nice. I would change the big windows in the living room wall. Have them open outwards like French Doors or sliding doors so you can have a wrap around patio and extend the living room outside. The patio can also be enclosed with moveable mesh screens to keep the bugs and critters out.
